Better lucky than good. By winning Sepang District Badminton Double Champion (U12), this little dude once again prove to the world that its not what you know, but whom you know that leads to excel. As per what Sunzi Art of War states, victory is by choosing the right partner and battlefield.
By crook or by hook, this little dude end up making the district team. Is he underclass in the district team? Or perhaps a different training program might elevate him to a different level.

Final Body Fitness score = 72 points, unchanged from year 2017.
Body fat of 21.6% (slightly over) versus 23.9% in year 2017.

Looks like I need to do lots more strength training.
NPE Highway Half Marathon. This mark my 4th half marathon for the year. I didn't intend to break my personal best or achieve sub-two results. The plan is to run a 6'00 pace for the first 15km and 5'30 pace for the final 6km.
The race start slightly later at 530am, therefore I have more sleep than usual. The weather is great, with tiny rain and cool breeze. The race road is excellent with great lighting, good surface and wide road. I also run together with WK for most of the course. The results are I ran faster than I should for the 15km (at around 5'45) and slower than I should in the final 6km (at around 5'38). The end result is 5'41 pace. The race course is slightly below 21.1km. The final result- another sub-two (which is the 3rd straight sub-two half marathon)
After being troubled by IT Band Injury in the left leg in the second half of year 2022 (and recovered in early 2023), I now being troubled by IT Band in injury on the right leg following Half Marathon in Hatyai.
Not sure how long it takes for recovery as the previous injury took more than half a year. Sports massage might certainly help, as well as the following exercises, which I need to do a lot more frequent.
