Appears to fit perfectly and feel very comfy although it doesn't feel as light as some speedy shoes. Unfortunately, I couldn't have a test run as I was down with sickness for a week.

Attacked by Covid

Alas! Attacked by Covid! Training for Half Marathon next month was totaly destroyed. In fact, I am not even sure if I am able to recover on time to even complete the race.

Asic Running Club

My first experience with Asic Running Club appears to be a lot harder than I anticipated. The 12.7km run at average pace of 6'17 felt to be a lot harder due to the final 15 minutes hard fininshing. The elevation didn't help too.

Interval 8x400m

Running in a group sure makes Interval run a lot more easier. 

Basketball with kids

Lebron James plan to play with his son in NBA? Well, I am not so sure if it is possible, but I have played with Hong Yi on a pick up game for the first time. He played surprisingly quite alright too.

Virtual United Airline NYC Run

This is my 5th personal Half Marathon. I didn't try my best as it is a group run (at the beginning stage) and also suffer some pain in leg during (and before the run).

Group 10km run. I guess we are more interested in taking good photos than pace. You can definitely run much longer in a group.

Accident

 

Oh no, a car accident occurred not far away from my car. An angry Chinese male is screaming and pointing fingers at a Malay lady, expressing his anger towards her action (and her fault I suppose). Chinese vs Malay? Well, let’s not try to be racist here. Male vs female? Well, lets not try to  be sexist here. So whats the problem? Well, the problem is… Can that angry Chinese male please put on your mask! Mask on Mate!

Injury - Hamstring

The discomfort in the back part of tight, possibly hamstring, is causing irritation particularly in (1) driving seating position and (2) sprint running.

As much as I wish to 'cheat' the smart watch, it is able to detect my body's discomfort and VO2 Max has dropped to as low as 46/47 range (from the usual 48/49 range two months ago).

Unfortunately I haven't found a real solution to this and it sure doesn't seems like a quick fix. Hope it doesn't change my year end full marathon plan.
