Day 8 of the trip commence with a visit to the Songzanlin Monastery (and Museum). This is suppose to be the main attraction for Shangri-la, however, we find the other attraction more 'attractive. I don't see or sense presence of pilgrim. On the other hand, there are plenty of tourist here for photo session.
The final session of the trip is the horse riding session. It is a great experience for the kids.
