Those who know me well enough probably can’t imagine myself watching this movie. Frankly, I find it hard to believe myself. However, if I were to say that someone treated me the movie along with a nice dinner then it would probably be acceptable. Nonetheless, it looks really weird seeing two straight men watching this movie together. After all, more than 75% of the audiences are female and the balances are either accompanying the other half or they must be those really sensitive type. It’s interesting to see how men and women have such different tastes. Another fascinating fact, Samantha, one of the four main female character in the movie, is reading the book “The Secret”, the exact same book that I am reading now. I guess we are not that different after all.

Shoes & Ties
I have not been wearing a tie at work ever since several casual dressing colleagues join the organization. The days when I valued personal professional appearances and the company’s image on every little detail are long gone.
Ironically, I have been wearing the wrong shoes to work in the past two days. Nobody seems to be noticing or nobody seems to care. The question that one would be asking is why am I wearing the wrong shoes? Carelessness or a deliberate act of rebellious.

Ancient Tree
(Photo taken in Basildene Manor in Margaret River in July 08)
Here's one really big aged tree located next to the entrance of a genuinely old mansion. I really like this tree but haven’t got a clue what type of tree it is (especially during winter). Can anyone help me?

Lion for Lamb
If a young cub were not capable of catching its own pray, a wise advice is for him to stay and share food with a herd of lamb until he gets stronger. Hypothetically, the day never arrives (or it could be interesting seeing a lion gaining strength via chewing grass). As the day goes by, the cub would gradually disregard its vision and potential and its fear into the outback has widened. Here’s a timely question that is puzzling the cub: what is more hazardous? Thrown into the wild outback or into a herd of lamb?

Advance
Everybody around me seems to be pursuing into something new. Leading to new business, heading for marriage, rushing for kids, moving overseas, advancing to new job etc. I seem to be the rare few that has been stagnant and neither makes any changes or advance in any aspect of my life. Someone important to me once said that it’s better right than fast. That has been my bible in the last few years; which has been very contradictory to my younger days. However, it could well be the quiet before the storm. Can you sense the storm coming?

Earthquake
It’s been a shocker with three employees resigning in my second day back to work. It is always an interesting experience listening to other people’s version of the stories behind their decision to leave. In this case, however, I felt otherwise. Not only that they have quite a reaction towards their choice to move on (such as extreme distress or depress); I also sense they have significant negative feeling towards myself. That keeps me wonders if someone ‘put me on the table’ behind my back. I wonder.

Missing Person
This is a 20-years old photo that I have just received recently. I would treat anybody a roti-canai meal if they can locate the person on the right. I have lost his contact for years.
P.S. Can anyone identify the person on the left? Some claimed that it is me (on a very shy angle) but others including my mum doubted so.

I am Back
I am back. Back from holiday, back to work, back to the daily-congested traffic and back to the daily Cold Storage Lunch. It’s been a fruitful trip in terms of leisure, business and reunion.
I often plan my vacation so tightly in order to have the most productive holiday. As such, I sometimes need a holiday after the holiday to catch a break. It’s not the case for this trip. It has been relaxing and joyful. One of the reasons is that I have considerably removed the ‘shop for souvenir’ session. i.e. don’t ask souvenirs from me :)

Reunion 2
Traditional Reunion is about meeting up, catching up and talk about the good old days. Some Eventful Reunion can be about party but not a word on the past or present. New Age Reunion is about re-living the same old hobbies/activities such as basketball with the same old trash talking. I don't recall feeling that young since I was actually at that age.
Anyway, the result to the much anticipated 3-point shoot out that will haunt some members until the next reunion are as follow:
Champion: Shaqman (unseeded)
1st Runner up: Musashi (unseeded)
2nd Runner up: Footos (2nd seed & self proclaimed 3-point specialist)
As for the first seed Kelvin, well lets just say that he is glad to participate in the competition :)

P.S. One Ice Limao shall be awarded to the first person who can match the 4 'nicknames' to the 4 person in the photo.
